Our Team

SHA personnel are professionally qualified, competent and experienced.

They all have a proven track record of professional excellence in their field and all have been managerially inducted into the company and are professionally monitored. Staff are continually supervised to meet our framework of high quality standards, policies and procedures.

Members of the team

Nick Stone - M.A. Dip COT
Nick qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1985 and gained a Masters Degree in social policy and social research in 1990.
Ex Principal O.T. Manager for Social Services. He has led many SHA consultancy projects including professional mentoring for Norfolk County Council. He developed a system for assessing accommodation needs for disabled students at London Metropolitan University and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
He has managed the Appeals Clinic for the Blue Badge scheme for Brent Council; Housing Transfer Appeals for various Housing Associations, and developed a new Sheltered Housing assessment tool for Wrexham Council.

Rob Sach

Rob Sach. DipCOT - Senior Practitioner

Rob qualified as an occupational therapist in 1992 and has worked in social services ever since. He joined SHA at its inception in 1994/5.
Rob is an SHA Project Manager and quality auditor.
He has extensive experience of Disabled Facilities Grant work and also acts as a professional mentor to other SHA personnel and new inductees.

Carol Klein DipCOT 1992 - Senior Practitioner

Qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1992, working in Social Services. Carol has been involved in SHA projects since the Company started;
She is a mentor to new SHA inductees. Carol is the lead OT and supervisor for the Company's block contract with Islington Council. She works closely with the 'in-house' service in completing assessments on a SAP system and completing equipment orders on a live web-based system 'ELMS'. Carol supervises and leads the SHA Team for mobility clinics - assessing eligibility for Blue Badges/Taxi Cab Cards/ Freedom Passes/Personalised parking bays. Again this involves imputing live IT assessments onto the main Parking system to link in with 'in-house' provision.

Janet Neyerlin-Beale

Janet Neyerlin Beale - Dip COT, MSC in Paediatric Occupational Therapy. Senior Practitioner.
Children's Specialist

Janet qualified in 1991 and has extensive experience working with children with disabilities and their families, particularly in a Social Services setting.
Janet has been working with SHA since 1997, she is a member of Children, Young People and Families, and the Special Interest Group for Paediatric Occupational Therapists working in Social Services.

David Renshaw - MIBA SHA Business Manager

David combines a past history of Chairman of a mixed manufacturing and service group, with ten years advising government, specifically the Departments of Environment and National Heritage. He has a unique knowledge of the tender and contractual process which allows SHA to approach new contracts with considerable confidence.

David has worked with SHA since 1999, initially as a business mentor and now advises the Director on strategy, new business and contract matters.
David frequently represents SHA at client contract meetings.

Jill Ryder

Jill Ryder - MAAT 1991, Financial Controller

Licensed and Regulated by the Association of Accounting Technicians to engage in public practice, Jill has worked for SHA since 2000, reporting to the Director.
She is responsible for the production of Quarterly Management accounts, and the management of cashflow and cashflow forecasting.
She undertakes periodic review of contract profitability, provides costings for new business tenders, and manages the sales, invoicing and credit control, payroll and other general accountancy tasks.
